The African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States in collaboration with a group of entrepreneurs and ACP captains of industry/investors, has organized a high-level Business Summit to discuss implementable strategies for the industrial transformation of ACP countries.
This first ACP Business Summit took place in the margins of the 9th Summit of ACP Heads of State and Government, which was held from 6-10th December 2019 in Nairobi, under the most prestigious auspices of His Excellency Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta, President of the republic of Kenya.
The theme of the Business Summit was “Industrialization and Private Sector Engagement for Economic Transformation of ACP States”.
The ACP Business Summit was structured around the following two components:
• A Presidential Dialogue (High-level dialogue) Between ACP Heads of State and Captains of Industry; and
• The ACP Private Sector Development and Investment Village
